I have some big news to share with everyone: My newest book, The Call & The Answer is finally finished! I’ve spent the last few years writing and weaving together a new collection of poems that explore the depths of the human experience while navigating delicate topics such as anxiety, depression, grief, and spirituality.
This book is a two-part journey through the threshold of loss and the discovery of enduring presence. The first half is an existential cry into the void, written before the passing of my mother, while the second is the universe’s soft reply, found in the wake of grief.
The Call & The Answer is very special to me, as it is also a unique collaboration with my talented husband. Every poem is paired with one of his original photographs to leave a lasting impression and a deeper understanding of the messages. Together, the rhythmic words and evocative imagery invite you to move within and contemplate at your own pace; to hear the call and see the answer.
Though the world feels dark and heavy, I think it's important, now more than ever, to keep putting love and positive energy back into the universe. Just as energy flows to mend the body, I believe language can be used to mend the heart. These poems were channeled in that same spirit of restoration for my own self-healing. It is my hope that our combined effort offers a sanctuary for others to find healing and to feel seen and heard through every season of life.
Tentative release date is set for February 17th! Unlike my last book, I will not be using Amazon as one of my distributors. I plan on selling these through my website, where you can purchase via Square and I will personally ship them to you. I'll be posting an update with more info about pricing and possibly taking preorders soon.
